The Shadows Foundation is a local, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, based in Flagstaff, Arizona. Shadows is dedicated to helping those individuals in need who are affected by life threatening diseases by providing services and financial assistance when they need it most. By collaborating with local businesses, seeking grant submissions, working with generous private donors, and holding fund raising events, the Shadows Foundation allocates assistance and services to individuals and their families in their times of greatest need.
Disease doesn’t care about age, an individual’s faith or finances. It doesn’t care about family or friends. Disease pays no attention to mortgages or grocery bills; the size of a Wall Street portfolio or balance in a checking account; whether the electricity is on or a porch light needs to be changed.
Disease strikes indiscriminately and ravishes what it wishes.
To date Shadows has provided assistance to over 200 families and individuals residing in Northern Arizona and our surrounding communities.
Even though you may feel that you are fighting alone in your search for these answers — all you have to do is hold your face to the sun and you will have your shadow to be with you. When there are dark days and your shadow remains hidden let the Shadows Foundation be your support and assurance.
You Are Not Alone
The Mission of the Shadows Foundation
Every year families in our communities have their lives affected by life threatening diseases that lead to either loss of a loved one or prolonged illness. As a result, they often suffer financial hardships due to compounded medical expenses, reduced earnings and accrued household debt.
The Shadows Foundation, a local, Flagstaff based, nonprofit organization, is dedicated to helping these individuals by providing services and financial assistance when they are in need. By collaborating with local businesses, seeking grant submissions, generous private donors, and fund raising events, the Shadows Foundation allocates funds and services to individuals and their families in times of greatest need.
