About the Shadows Foundation

 

The Shadows Foundation is a local, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, based in Flagstaff, Arizona. Shadows is dedicated to helping those individuals in need who are affected by life threatening illness by providing services and financial assistance when they need it most. By collaborating with local businesses, seeking grant submissions, working with generous private donors, and holding fund raising events, the Shadows Foundation allocates assistance and services to individuals and their families at times of greatest need.

Disease strikes indiscriminately and can ravish those struck.

Disease doesn’t care about age, faith or finances, family or friends. Disease pays no attention to mortgage, utilities or grocery bills; the size of a Wall Street portfolio or balance in a checking account; whether the electricity is on or a porch light needs to be changed.

​

To date Shadows has provided assistance to more than 200 families and individuals residing in Northern Arizona, and surrounding communities.

​

Even though you may feel that you are fighting alone in your search for these answers, all you have to do is hold your face to the sun and you will have your shadow with you. When there are dark days, and your shadow remains hidden, let the Shadows Foundation be your support and assurance.
